For this reason it is important that we are efficient with our water supply and do our best to conserve our water resources. Managing water loss is important to maximize system revenues, cut energy use and operating costs, improve water quality, address failing infrastructure, and mitigate impacts of limited water resources from drought or contamination. You will learn how to conduct a water balance; address non-revenue water including apparent losses and real losses (leakage); set goals that are specific, measurable, and attainable; and efficiently spend limited resources to address water loss. Heather Himmelberger will be presenting from the Tumwater location, but the workshop will be broadcast to the River View Corporate Center and the Kent Regional Office.
